Poodle:

Poodle is a German dog breed. This breed is mostly bred in three different sizes that are Standard, Miniature and Toy breed. They are very obedient dogs and are agile as well. This breed of dog is available in different coat colors like: black, white, silver, gray, cream, red , brown with the combination of same having pattern as well.

Body Structure:

The Poodle have squarely build which is well proportioned. They have oval eyes which are mostly dark in shade. This breed mostly give intelligent expression and try to be alert  every moment. The ears are short and folded close to the head. The ears are set slightly below the eye level. The coat of Poodle are soft, curly and thick. They are given different looks by the master which can be shaven or lion cut or many similar looks can also be given. They tail of these dogs are set high which is  a little curled at the end.

Poodle are elegant dog with ample amount of intelligence and activeness. Poodle is counted to be one of the most obedient and smartest dog among the other dog breeds of the world. Grooming:

The Poodle need excessive grooming if the dog is show dog. There are variety of grooming accessories available for the show dogs. The breed must be bathed in a regular interval of time and the coat must be clipped after every 6 to 7 week time. The hairs growing inside the ear canal are pulled out as they do cause any trouble to the dog, and the ear must be check so that they did not get infected of mites and wax collection. This breed do not shed coat so it is mandatory to be clipped. These dogs are good for the allergy sufferers as they shed a little or no hair. Poodle are mostly subject to many genetic health problems like runny eyes, epilepsy, cataracts, ear infection, diabetes, heart and skin diseases. Hip dysplasia is also one of the problem which is caused to this breed. They must be taken for the health and care checkup to the veterinarian on regular interval of time.
