Because of the Rottweiler’s size, training should begin when the Rottweiler is a small puppy. This type of breed needs a lot of leadership and socialization. The objective in training for this dog is to achieve a pack leader status. It is a natural behavior for a dog to have an order in its pack. When humans start living with dogs, they become their pack. Lines are clearly defined and rules are clearly set. You and all other humans must be higher up in the order than the dog.

Two Feeding Options Decide on what to feed your rottweiler. There are two ways to feed: store-bought food or food you make yourself. With store-bought food, the issue is that not all brand foods are equal in health value and some contain those ingredients that can be bad for your rottweiler, like harsh chemicals used in that food, bad proteins and lots of fats with little nutrients. However, only some people like the convenience factor of store-bought food and opt to use it. But with homemade food, while you get to decide exactly what your rottweiler eats or what he likes to eat, you might not always have the time to spend in the kitchen to make food for your rottweiler.
It is very important for your puppy to grow slowly. Very quick growth of the dog and its joints can cause hip dysplasia or elbow dysplasia. A youth dog can easily get pano in the joints from growing to fast. It is a same example for a teenager at the age of 16 becoming 6ft tall very quickly. The teenagers dog often get knee problems. Please do not give your dog supplements to increase your dogs growth. You will be very disappointed when your dog get joint problems.
